All students applying for admission to the Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology MUST apply to ESSA for GRADUATE ENTRY ASSESSMENT for Postgraduate Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) study. NB: Exercise Science Accreditation (AES) from ESSA does not meet this requirement. Entry into the Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology is competitive based on GPA and requires both: 1. An undergraduate degree in or related to the field of exercise and sports science or equivalent qualification that meets Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) requirements; and 2. An approved Graduate Entry Assessment for Postgraduate Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) study letter from Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) indicating that all Exercise Science knowledge and skills criteria are met (other than apparently healthy practicum hours). Applicants that do not satisfy all Exercise Science knowledge and skills criteria may not be assessed for admission and will be referred to the Diploma of Exercise Studies to address knowledge and skill deficits. Applicants who have satisfied all of the entry criteria, but have not completed all apparently healthy placement hours prior to the start of the academic year, are considered to have met admission criteria and will be assessed based on competitiveness. Students interested in applying for this course are strongly encouraged to submit their assessment for Graduate Entry (GE) with ESSA prior to 30 September in the year prior to seeking admission. This is important to ensure that the ESSA GE assessment letter or the ESSA notification of submission of GE, is attached to the admission application. Details regarding how to apply for the GE Assessment can be found on the ESSA website (https://www. essa. org. au/). ESSA will perform a preliminary assessment for postgraduate study based on academic transcripts that are yet to include grades from a final session of undergraduate study. Applicants awaiting receipt of a final academic transcript are encouraged to apply for an ESSA GE assessment.

Master of Professional Accounting Master of Professional Accounting (12 subjects) For entry to the Master of Professional Accounting (12 subjects) applicants are required to have an undergraduate degree from a recognised Australian tertiary institution (or equivalent). The undergraduate degree must be in a field other than Accounting, or not recognised by the Australian Accounting professional bodies for associate membership. Applicants without a tertiary qualification may be admitted to the Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting or Graduate Diploma of Accounting on the basis of professional attainment and/or work experience. Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate of Professional Accounting/Graduate Diploma of Accounting, students will then be eligible for admission to the Master of Professional Accounting (16 subjects) and receive credit for applicable subjects. Master of Professional Accounting (16 subjects) For entry to the Master of Professional Accounting (16 subjects) applicants who do not have an undergraduate degree from a recognised Australian tertiary institution (or equivalent) will be considered for admission via the Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting or Graduate Diploma of Accounting on the basis of professional attainment and/or work experience. Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate/Graduate Diploma, students will then be eligible for admission to the Master of Professional Accounting (16 subjects) and receive credit for applicable subjects. Graduate Diploma of Accounting Applicants will normally be required to have an undergraduate degree from a recognised Australian tertiary institution or a qualification deemed to be equivalent. However applicants with other academic and/or professional qualifications acceptable to the University will be considered. Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting Applicants without a tertiary qualification may be admitted to the Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting on the basis of professional attainment and/or work experience. Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate, students will then be eligible for admission to the Master of Professional Accounting and receive credit for applicable subjects.

Master of Health Services Management An undergraduate degree or eligible AHPRA registration where the current standard is a bachelor pass degree and 2 years of experience in the health services industry. Graduate Diploma of Health Services Management An undergraduate degree or eligible AHPRA registration where the current standard is a bachelor pass degree and 2 years of experience in the health services industry. Graduate Certificate in Leading Change (Health Services) An undergraduate degree or eligible AHPRA registration where the current standard is a bachelor pass degree and 2 years of experience in the health services industry. Graduate Certificate in Health Services Management An undergraduate degree or eligible AHPRA registration where the current standard is a bachelor pass degree and 2 years of experience in the health services industry.

Graduate Diploma of Mathematics For entry to the Graduate Diploma in Mathematics applicants are required to have completed an undergraduate degree or a teaching qualification. Applicants must also have studied, within the last 10 years, a high school mathematics subject that includes calculus (for example HSC Mathematics or VCE Mathematical Methods. HSC General Mathematics or equivalent is not sufficient), OR have completed a university level mathematics subject which includes calculus (such as MTH105) which is deemed by the Course Coordinator to be equivalent. Students who attempt the subject EPT442 will need to undergo a police check. Graduate Certificate in Mathematics Applicants without a tertiary qualification may be admitted to the Graduate Certificate in Mathematics on the basis of professional attainment and/or work experience in a scientific or quantitative environment. Applicants must also have studied, within the last 10 years, a high school mathematics subject that includes calculus (for example HSC Mathematics or VCE Mathematical Methods. HSC General Mathematics or equivalent is not sufficient), OR have completed a university level mathematics subject which includes calculus (such as MTH105) which is deemed by the course coordinator to be equivalent.

Master of Animal Science For admission a candidate shall: hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor qualification with a major in a relevant discipline*; or hold an AQF Level 8 Graduate Diploma qualification in a relevant discipline*. *Relevant disciplines include, but are not restricted to General Science; Animal or Veterinary Sciences, Agricultural Science or  Biomedical Science.

Master of Sustainable Agriculture A completed Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline from a University or other tertiary education provider. OR A completed Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Agriculture from a University or other tertiary education provider (or equivalent). OR A completed Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Agriculture from a University or other tertiary education provider (or equivalent). OR Relevant Industry experience from the agricultural/business sector of at least 2 years or equivalent knowledge gained through alternate means. OR A completed AQF Diploma studied at a TAFE, Registered Training Organisation (RTO) or University - or equivalent OR Partial completion of an AQF Diploma, of at least 50%, studied at a TAFE, Registered Training Organisation (RTO) or University - or equivalent. OR A completed AQF Certificate IV studied at a TAFE, Registered Training Organisation (RTO) or University - or equivalent OR A completed Tertiary Preparation Certificate from an Australian university (or equivalent), demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Overall Grade Average or Score achieved. OR A completed Vocational Education and Training (VET) Certificate IV undertaken from 2008 in Enrolled/Division 2 Nursing (or equivalent) and AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse. OR A completed Vocational Education and Training (VET) Certificate IV undertaken prior to 2008 in Enrolled/Division 2 Nursing (or equivalent) and AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse. OR A completed Vocational Education and Training (VET) Diploma in Enrolled/Division 2 Nursing (or equivalent) and AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse. OR A completed Vocational Education and Training (VET) Advanced Certificate in Enrolled/Division 2 Nursing (or equivalent) and AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse. OR A completed Vocational Education and Training (VET) Advanced Diploma in Enrolled/Division 2 Nursing (or equivalent) and AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse. OR A completed Hospital Certificate in Enrolled/Division 2 Nursing (or equivalent) and AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse. AND Was born in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom, USA or South Africa and have completed at least one qualification  taught and assessed in English in one of these countries. OR Have successful secondary or tertiary studies of no less than 5 years full time equivalent in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom, USA or South Africa and have completed at least one qualification taught and assessed in English in one of these countries. OR An Academic IELTS with a minimum overall score of 7. 0 with no score below 7 in each of the individual skill areas or a qualification deemed equivalent (see CSU ELP Concordance Tables). Graduate Diploma of Clinical Practice (Paramedic) For entry to this course students must hold a bachelors degree in nursing (or equivalent) and be registered to practice. Some experience in the emergency health field is recommended. Intending students should also be aware that in order to undertake the practicum subjects they will be required to comply with the risk management policies and procedures of the host ambulance authority. Students must be able to attend a 5 day residential school associated with the subject CLS412 Introduction to Internship.
