My one up manager has been fantastic and has been a great mentor. I have learned a lot from him and he has kept me motivated throughout my time at CTS. He is always available by phone or email and whenever I need a few minutes he is there without hesitation. I also receive constant feedback from him and many insights into the industry.

Managers always have time for us and they are eager to build mentoring relationships with us. Good work is recognised and awarded and there is always encouragement to improve the way we conduct ourselves as technology and business consultants.

Managers are often accessible by phone. More difficult to meet in person due to their busy schedules. Distinctly show effort in catering to our needs.

Some managers are great and are easy to get along with. Others, not so much. It really boils down to personality traits and whether or not you can get along with them naturally.

My manager always reciprocates communications but as I am on site I have very little communication with him. Performance reviews happen quarterly. I have been working alongside another employee of the organisation who has functioned as a really good mentor.
