Client site - within the team it is very good, overall the team is good and work closely together toward deliverables.

The company culture is friendly and open while remaining serious and professional. The structure is fairly standard but allows for teams to be assembled with varying experience and ideas. We are encouraged to create a good work-life balance.

One of the best perks over here in Sydney office (can't speak for other places) is the work culture and environment. Hierarchy is definitely present in the workplace when discussing about work related matters, and handled appropriately. Cooperation and teamwork when working on a project is highly emphasized. The team will look after you. In term of socialising amongst colleagues: Great to be around with. Friends.

The team that is on the project are all great people. There is very little explicate hierarchy in day to day work. All of the project streams cooperate on a daily basis.

There is onus placed on us to perform with excellence and there is support from mentors to achieve that. Senior management often meet with juniors, both in formal meetings and in informal meetings. Senior associates take time out of their day to help and support the growth of the graduates. Because Cognizant is such a large organisation we work with teams across multiple industries and business units.

Office culture is about the same as any other company. Everyone does their work and collaborates with each other when they need to. Although the company has a hierarchical structure, senior management is approachable and are always willing to discuss about career development or social activities of interest.

As a consulting organisation it is difficult to say. Cognizant has made positive steps towards creating a good culture throughout the organisation. However this is limited as you might spend months on client site with little interaction with the organisation.

The company's culture is very customer focused, empowering and integral. The company has a range of services they offer to a variety of industries. Teamwork and cooperation is very big, we work in teams all the time coordinating with offshore and onshore employees. Employees generally enjoy having a chat among each other and are quite welcoming
