Applicants must have completed an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC)-accredited sequence in Psychology within the last 10 years (e.g., four-year, or three-year plus a fourth year), and be eligible for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia as a provisional psychologist. Applicants who completed their Psychology training outside of Australia are required to provide evidence of equivalency as determined by the Australian Psychological Society.

  • Written confirmation from your current employer stating that they will be able to provide you access to cardiac ultrasound clinical experience for three days per week over a two year period (or full time equivalent) as outlined in the Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) Program Accreditation Guidelines.

  • Written confirmation from your nominated Clinical Supervisor stating that they are an Accredited Medical Sonographer by ASAR and will supervise you for the duration of your studies in the Graduate Diploma of Cardiac Ultrasound.
