Graduate Certificate
The aim of this course is to promote the professional development of educators in tertiary education. You will examine the role of the educator, and the knowledge, skills and dispositions required for effective teaching and student learning. Continuous improvement in learning and teaching practices is a critical focus of the course, by promoting reflective practice, innovation, scholarship and research.
An alternative entry pathway is available via presentation of a portfolio of existing experience and qualifications, which MUST include EACH of the following:

As a successful graduate of the course, you will build on your understanding of contemporary educational issues and practices in tertiary education and how these may be applied within your particular contexts. The course is work-based and promotes a balance between theory and practice, which enables you to enhance your learning and teaching practices and contribute to your ongoing professional development as a tertiary educator.
