About this course

Studying a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care you will learn how to work within organisational policies and procedures, develop an understanding of how to use individual children's profiles to plan activities and provide care and education to children, as well as the skills needed to facilitate leisure and play. Upon completion you will be qualified to work within the requirements of the Education and Care National Quality Framework.

Entry requirements

Required: Completion of bksb (Basic Key Skills Builder) online literacy and numeracy assessment prior to enrolment, unless the student has completed an equal or higher level course.

Ability to complete vocational placement component for the duration of the qualification with a minimum of 120 hours.

Ability to obtain a Suitability Card (Blue Card).

Recommended: Access to a Computer, Internet and intermediate computer skills.
