Tasks covered include: identifying plant specimens, maintaining and re-vegetating areas, controlling weeds, conducting site and park inspections, erosion and sediment control and chemical management.

Students attempting online/distance mode of study must have an organised work placement whilst undertaking this qualification as there are practical assessments to be completed by a third party SME. Students are responsible for finding their own work placement.
