The Finance function is changing. New technologies are getting accountants out from behind their spreadsheets and into the hub of enterprises. At Tibra we're changing faster than most. We're constantly looking to innovate in order to create value and to better support the business.

We are looking for candidates who want to gain an accounting qualification whilst working in a key role in a dynamic, successful and global company. Our small team covers every aspect of Finance, so you will have the opportunity to gain a wide variety of skills in all aspects of the function – a great way to kickstart your career!

What does Finance at Tibra do?

• We control and measure all flows of capital around the company
• We ensure that the products we trade in are properly controlled

• We understand the financial, tax and compliance intricacies of the many jurisdictions in which we operate.
• We help the business to visualise its costs and make better decisions

How do we do it?

We use off the shelf packages, but by combining them with SQL and Python coding we build bespoke tools that mean we can do things quicker and better. We're only part way through this journey though, and hence we are looking for people to share our vision and fully complete our finance transformation.

What will the program look like?

You will start by learning the Accounts Payable function, where you will learn about how our business operates and be able to develop the skills in analysis, organisation and reconciliation that all accountants use throughout their careers. From there you will have the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of tasks encompassing management and financial accounting, tax, treasury, regulatory reporting and product control, whilst receiving mentoring from all members of the company from the CEO down. We're also going to be encouraging you to innovate by learning coding skills, partner other teams in the company and help us build the Finance team of the future.
