Tell us about your career at ResMed so far?

ResMed has provided the opportunity to develop my professional and leadership skills in a dynamic environment that prides itself on pushing the boundaries in innovation and product development. In my first seven months, I have been exposed to, and given responsibility for the product development cycle whilst developing ground-breaking engineering processes under the assistance of the most passionate, highly-driven engineers in the medical device industry.

A culture exists where learning is at the forefront and in turn innovation is not just a buzzword, however a framework for decisions. This passion between employees has resulted in ResMed being not only at the forefront of the medical device industry, but its products and processes leading other industries in manufacturing and product development.

…it provides the opportunity to address unique issues where a solution is not necessarily black or white and the potential could be revolutionary. The opportunity to develop, refine and revise solutions is pioneering in the sense that it requires a level of creativity and teamwork that has not been explored before.

…being exposed to an environment that although is leading its industry, is constantly transforming through innovation, leadership and education – this provides lessons that are not only applicable professionally, but also personally.
