My role is an internal auditor. Often I will be very involved with the auditing process, however some days there will be no work for me to complete.

Administration and coordination of client projects. Assisting in the development of deliverables

Assurance: performing half year and full year audits, performing less complex tasks during audits, confirmation, performing testing and analysis. Advisory: performing year end accounting, preparation of financial statements and tax returns.

Well diverse day to day daily activities. Not concentrated to a particular area or client

Assisting with the preparation of accounts, tax returns. Completion of audit assurance engagements. Providing advisory and value add services to our clients.

Preparing financial documents, assisting in completing audits, compliance work, ad hoc admin work

Admin, emails, writing reports, attending emails, drafting advice responses, attending meetings

Audit testing, tax work

Tasks vary everyday, but can include management accounting, audit, tax returns, FBT returns, BAS preparation, and other admin tasks

As a graduate, I feel accomplished at the end of the day knowing that I have done enough to build upon technical knowledge and career development.

It's hard to say as every day is different. Sometimes we may be doing simple data entry/bookkeeping work for the client, preparing financial statements, tax returns as well as out of scope work which always keeps the work interesting and fresh.

Liaising with clients to understand internal audit schedules and conducting works. Assisting with team tasks.

Tax returns, tax technical issues research, writing detailed taxation advice, analysis of client affairs and identification of tax issues.
